Giraffes are some of the most beautiful animals found in African preserves. Because of poaching, deforestation, and habitat loss they are not prevalent throughout all of Africa and are soon going to be considered rare. 1. Masai Mara Reserve, Kenya
The Masai Mara Reserve is well known for being a great place to see all sorts of African animals, especially giraffes. But because of human settlement there are less and less giraffes on the reserve so see them before they go. The reserve is home to the Maasai Giraffe which is found in East Africa.

2. Ruma National Park, Kenya
Lawbe Valley, located in Ruma National Park is an especially brilliant place to see these creatures. The valley is home to many herds of giraffes and has the famous reticulated giraffe which has white lines and brownish-orange spots.

3. Ruaha National Park, Tanzania
Ruaha National Park has thousands of Maasai giraffes and is East Africa’s largest National Park. The park has many different habitats such as wetlands, savanna, and woodlands. You can find giraffes everywhere throughout the park.

4. Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda
This National Park is the countries biggest nature reserve with animals at every corner. There are often spotting’s of giraffes near the banks of the Nile River which passes through. The park also has Nubian giraffes which have become extinct in some parts of Africa.

5. South Luangwa Valley, Zambia
South Luangwa Valley in Zambia is a very special place to see giraffes. The Thornicroft giraffe (also known as the Rhodesian giraffe) is a rare giraffe that can only be found at this park. It is genetically unique from all other kinds of giraffes and to this day there are only 550 of them.
